SAITECHDEFENCE is a UK DefenceTech company developing rapid-deployment counter-drone systems, tactical UAV technology and booster solutions for defence, border security and critical infrastructure.
Its growing product roadmap includes the Mighty B booster range, tactical UAV support systems, drone motors, targeting technology and AI-enabled counter-drone solutions. The company has active development underway, early industry engagement and its first order secured through Purser Industries.
Led by Founder and CEO Paul O’Brien and CTO Phil Thorn, SAITECHDEFENCE is seeking £250,000 under SEIS to expand its engineering, product development, testing and production capabilities. A further £1 million EIS raise is planned, with the EIS application currently in progress.

Founded by former carpenter and vocational tutor Jude Quigley, JQ SiteMaster AI is an accessibility-first learning platform created for further education colleges, training providers and trade learners.
Built on Microsoft Azure and supported by Microsoft for Startups, the live platform addresses gaps in learner support, accessibility and teaching consistency across construction, electrical and wider vocational pathways. The founder-led, self-funded business has already secured early college interest, a paid pilot and SEIS Advance Assurance.

What’s Local is a live, map-based discovery platform helping people find events and experiences happening around them—from food festivals and community markets to live music, comedy and independent local venues.
Created for residents, UK travellers and holidaymakers, the app answers a simple question: “What is there to do around here today?”
For event organisers and local businesses, What’s Local provides free basic listings alongside affordable paid promotional options. Its technology can automatically discover, aggregate and populate local events, reducing its reliance on manual uploads and creating the potential to scale more efficiently.
Founded by Rachel and Dan Walker, the live platform combines Dan’s product-design experience with Rachel’s background in education, engagement and user growth. Following a focused regional launch, the founders plan to refine the marketplace before expanding across the UK.
